Trek Hire UK Ltd have been supplying trekkers and outdoorenthusiasts with quality HIRE equipment for the past 11 years. Trekking & Outdoors is our shop in Shere, Surrey where you can purchase just about everything else to help complete those all important kit lists for the adventure ahead. We also sell clothing and equipment for Duke of Edinburgh participants in the local area.

You will find some of the usual brands but also some that you may not have seen before including Mammut

Spotty Otter (top quality and durable children’s clothing) to name but a couple. We also sell Montane (lightweight and highly breathable clothing company from the UK) and recent clothing additions from Rab (UK based mountain clothing and equipment) and Helly Hansen (great base layers, when you really need to be warm!)

If you are struggling to understand exactly what you need for your particular trek then why not pop into our shop where we can go through things (over a cup of tea) and help you understand the importance of proper clothing and equipment or attend one of our trek training days where you will get all the information you need along with a good trek over the Surrey Hills which will give you a good indication of you walking fitness. (sounds strange, but it works)

From this year, we will also be providing clothing, equipment, advice etc for parents who’s children participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme in the local area, which includes products from manufacturers such as, Lifesystem, Vango and Sprayway.
