Customer Testimonial
Hi everyone, just wanted to thank you all for such a fantastic
day on Saturday. The walk, advice and company were all great (V
good lunch too!) - I now feel better prepared and excited about
our trip to Kilimanjaro. I did feel a bit stiff when I got up
from the bar late Saturday night, but not too bad at all since!
Thanks again for a great day - definitely to be recommended!
Will let you know how Jenine and I get on....
Best wishes Sally

Customer Testimonial
Hi Mick,
Just a quick line to say thanks for a fantastic day on Saturday,
it was thoroughly enjoyable despite the persistent rain. The 16
plus mile hike was definitely challenging; I thought everyone
did extremely well & yep even little old me.
The insight gained from
experiencing something representative of how a typical day on
our respective challenges may leave us feeling was I'd say pretty
invaluable. Your briefing was also both reassuring & highly
informative, so along with Lee's input & with all the Kilimanjaro
anecdotes I really feel that I now have a much greater appreciation
for what may occur during my December attempt on Kilimanjaro.
For me the day certainly
provided answers to many an important question. I'm hopeful too
that I'll also get to put even more theory into practice a little
earlier & along with you guys in November with the coming
Toubkal ascent, that being the case then I'll also undoubtedly
be heading back down your way for a North Downs re run around
mid October. In the meantime I'll look forward to your further
updates on the Toubkal trip.
Anyway it is bye from me for now Mick & once again my many
thanks.
Best regards,
Justin

Cain is one of the partners of Trek Hire UK who has recently returned
from a two-week expedition to Tanzania, summating three mountains
(Longido, Meru and Kilimanjaro) and he would like to share with
you everything he learnt along the way.
It was due mainly to Mick’s preparation,
fitness and military training that got him through this particular
daunting three peaks challenge and he is happy to pass on the same
sort of knowledge and guidance which will enable you to complete
your particular trek trouble free.
Most of the day will be spent walking from
Puttenham to Dorking (16 miles undulating) following in the footsteps
of the Pilgrims as you go. Before and during the walk, Mick will
be going through particular items of interest regarding equipment
that will be useful on high altitude treks along with techniques
and the best ways in which to use them to your advantage. Lets face
it, for people going on a trek for the first time, information and
good advice is hard to come by.
