Mick, I wanted to send a message of thanks for a super comfy pair of boots.  I very much appreciate the time you took to ensure a Cinderella fit for the boots, I have been on several outings with them and am also pleased to say my husband’s ruck sack is also very comfortable.

Many thanks for your expert help and advice on both counts…

Hi Trek Hire

Many thanks for an excellent service and the sleeping bag (Montane Deep Heat) was very needed as we had temperatures below -25C, much appreciated, tahnks Ian

Hi Trek Hire UK

Thank you for the great tips especially to wear crocks around the camp (essential for going to the loo late at night) and the nail brush! We all made it to the summit of Kilimanjaro, we are all so very proud of our achievement. Hope to use you again for the next adventure!…

Hi Mick & Elaina

Thank you so much for all your help with my preparation for Kili, without your guy’s help “I may not have made it!”

G, Richens, South London

Absolutely BRILLAINT! Needed a sleeping bag last minute for my trek to Kilimanjaro. Elaina was absolutely amazing and helped me out through Skype calls and my panic. Sleeping bag arrived the very next day and Elaina kept in touch the entire time despite not even being open today, Wednesday. So very THANKFUL for the kindness and help shown at this time. Will definitely be recommending!

Hi Elaina

Lovely coat, he said it was too warm to wear some of the time! Brilliant sleeping bag – thank you, said he was like a piece of toast in it….

Elaina

I spoke with you yesterday regarding my son’s trip to Kilimanjaro and booking his sleeping bag and poles. I would just like to thank you so much for being so wonderfully helpful and talking to me about the trip. This level of customer service is second to none and you don’t often get it anymore. Being a parent, I am the last one to get information from him but you gave me some fantastic ideas and information!

On the off chance, do you have any kit lists that you recommend for the trip so that we know we have hit everything that is essential???

Thank you once again for your friendliness and helpfulness. Much appreciated!!

Dear Mick

Just a short note to thank you for organising the memorable Toyota Director’s Four Peak Challenge.
I think it would be fair to say that none of us quite realised what we were letting ourselves in for and some of the extreme weather conditions we would be faced with.

To your credit, you managed our uncertainties and should be very proud of taking on the task of leading the group with varying levels of experience and fitness up the highest peaks in England. Looking back I will have many memories some fond, some horrific! but the experience was fantastic and I am full of respect for you and your guides Sean and Dave and for the way you encouraged me along the way…..

We wouldn’t have made it without the amazing advice and personal service from Mick & Elaina at TrekhireUK. The kit we purchased and hire kit supplied by TrekhireUK was brilliant and that allowed us “Newbies” to concentrate on getting to the summit of the 4 3,000 footers without the unnecessary distraction of issues caused by using the wrong kit. From socks to boots to base layer to waterproof jackets and trousers – we had the right kit! I would recommend anyone going on any trek to speak with TrekhireUK and get the great service you deserve from this small independent.

Rob Giles (Toyota GB)

We are back! We had a fantastic holiday, it was so diverse. The trekking to Goecha La was some experience – it was tough but great. Very cold though – the sleeping bags did a fantastic job (needed these to keep warm when temp outside the tent was upwards of minus 10). Had frost inside the tent.

Dear Trek Hire UK
Thank you for the prompt delivery and the quality of your equipment. I completed the Kilimanjaro challenge but couldn’t have appreciated the equipment more…
Thanks again, I would highly recommend you in the future.

Kind Regards

I McManus, Kent

Hi
I have attached the photos from our trip to Kilimanjaro in January 2014. Our company helped organise it in aid of our charity “Macmillan Cancer support” collectively the 70 colleagues raised £4500+ each before climbing…..! It has been an amazing achievement and a hand full of us used TREK HIRE UK for our fantastic kit…! This ranged from our extremely warm sleeping bags and down jackets to the thermarest mats which were super comfy even over the rocky mountain floor…!  It was one less thing to worry about whilst conquering the mountain…

Thankyou again for all your help you have all been brilliant throughout our journey….we will defiantly use you again on my next adventure 😉

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to thank you for the equipment I hired at the tail end of last month/early part of this month.
The equipment was top class, I haven’t been able to thank you before this as I was away on holiday. I just want to make sure you received it my kit back and if there are any problems please contact me.
Many thanks

Thank you for these bags – they really kept us warm and toasty up at the frozen hut at Gorak Shep

K Howard, London

Hi Elaina & Mick, the jackets were excellent and kept us very warm in temperatures that were as low as -28°C! and we caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights!

R Saunders, Bournemouth

Many thanks for sending out the kit so promptly. The Therm-a-rest mat did its job, it was -9°C most nights. –

J Morris, Bucks

Please find enclosed the two sleeping bags and one Therm-a-rest mat. Thank you very much for the excellent service.

K Payne, Beds

Hi Elaina, thank you very much for the sleeping bags – they were great and kept us plenty  warm enough on some pretty cold nights in Peru!

C Alcock

Dear Sirs, I hereby return the sleeping bag and head torch which I hired from Trek Hire. You may recall at the time of hiring the equipment I advised that I would require the items for an extra week, Thank you for granting that request! I would also like to congratulate you on the quality of the items and the efficient service, should I undertake anymore treks then I certainly know where to go! I look forward to receiving the refund of my deposit.

C Sobande

Dear Elaina, thank you so much for all your helpful advice, I was toastie warm and very comfortable in my sleeping bag and jacket. With your equipment it helped to make my Husky Challenge a very memorable experience, thanks again.

J Fincham, Essex

Please find enclosed two Mammut Ajungilak sleeping bags that we hired from you just before Christmas. They were absolutely perfect for our trip to Kilimanjaro and kept us nice and cosy despite the heaviest snow they’ve had there in 15 years! Thanks again for the excellent service you provide, we would be more than happy to use you again and will definitely recommend you to our trekking friends.

Hi Mick,
Just a quick line to say thanks for a fantastic day on Saturday, it was thoroughly enjoyable despite the persistent rain. The 16 plus mile hike was definitely challenging; I thought everyone did extremely well & yep even little old me.

The insight gained from experiencing something representative of how a typical day on our respective challenges may leave us feeling was I’d say pretty invaluable. Your briefing was also both reassuring & highly informative, so along with Lee’s input & with all the Kilimanjaro anecdotes I really feel that I now have a much greater appreciation for what may occur during my December attempt on Kilimanjaro.

For me the day certainly provided answers to many an important question. I’m hopeful too that I’ll also get to put even more theory into practice a little earlier & along with you guys in November with the coming Toubkal ascent, that being the case then I’ll also undoubtedly be heading back down your way for a North Downs re run around mid October. In the meantime I’ll look forward to your further updates on the Toubkal trip.

Anyway it is bye from me for now Mick & once again my many thanks.

Best regards,

Justin
